PRELIMINARY APPLICATION INFORMATION
Once it is ready from AIFS (most likely sometime during the Fall 2020 semester), we’ll provide an application link here; all applications are to be done online from this link. If you’d like an email letting you know when the link becomes available—and you aren’t already on one of our Summer 2021 mailing lists—please email Patty Warne, the Study Abroad coordinator at email@example.com.
PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS PROGRAM.
To apply to our summer program, students must be at least age 18 and must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00.
Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Due to the limited size of the classroom and the educational nature of the group excursions, this program will have a cap of 30 students.
HOW THE PROCESS WILL WORK
Once the application link is ready, you’ll have an opportunity to apply online through AIFS and place a deposit of $450. Once the application and deposit are in place, SRJC’s Study Abroad Office will send you an email that will provide you with a link to some forms (see below) that we will need before we can enroll you into the program. Normally we would set up an appointment for a meeting for you to turn in your items and to discuss details of the trip, but if we are still working remotely, in lieu of a regular appointment, you’ll be asked to email your forms, and further info will be given via email as well.
By the way, if you plan on signing up for this trip and do not yet have a valid passport, you should start the process of obtaining one now. It is okay to sign up for this program before your passport arrives.
