On Saturday, February 10th, students enjoyed a daytrip to Pisa and Lucca. They participated in tours of the monuments surrounding the Leaning Tower and had some time exploring the area and taking famous pictures of themselves holding up the Tower! Their day was then followed by a peaceful afternoon of free time in Lucca, a small, quaint town outside of Florence where they enjoyed exploring the medieval town, lunch and shopping. 

Students participated in a hike to Fiesole, a small town that is situated about five kilometers above Florence. They had the chance to see caves the natural park has to offer along the trail, as well as the famous spot where Leonardo da Vinci tested his flying machine in 1506.

Soccer matches at the Florence Stadium where they watched the home team Fiorentina play against Frosinone.

Students visited the Galileo Museum in Florence, attended a Wine Tasting, a visit to the Archeology Museum, the Leonardo Interactive Museum, the synagogue, and attended the Vareggio Carnevale.
