PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS PROGRAM.

Our summer program is open to students age 18 and older who are not on academic probation or dismissal (in other words, you may not have a cumulative GPA below 2.00).

Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Due to the limited size of the classroom and the educational nature of the group excursions, this program will have a cap of approximately 25 students.

HOW THE PROCESS WILL WORK

Once the application link is ready, you’ll have an opportunity to apply online through AIFS and place a deposit of $450. Once the application and deposit are in place, you will be contacted via email by SRJC’s Study Abroad Office for an appointment. In that email we’ll provide you with a link to some forms (see below) and ask you to bring those in to the Study Abroad office (Rm. 1525 Emeritus on the Santa Rosa campus) along with a copy of your passport. (If you plan on signing up for this trip and do not yet have a valid passport, you should start the process of obtaining one now. You do not necessarily need to have a passport at the time you apply, but obviously you’ll need one by the time you travel.) Important pieces of information, such as how registration for your classes will take place and various deadlines, will also be discussed. Your meeting at the Study Abroad office will last about 30 minutes and is required before you can be officially enrolled into the program.
